Call For Good Practices

Conference Publication available!

In October 2010 we had the honour to welcome 150 participants at the European Conference on Local Sports Participation: Social Inclusion & Combating Poverty in Leuven.
On this occasion everyone had the chance to make the acquaintance of colleagues from the EU member states and to exchange knowledge and ideas about topics like sports infrastructure, European funds and lowering financial and other thresholds for sports participation.
Since we want to preserve all this knowledge and information, we have compiled it in a Conference Publication. This will also inform you about the topics which were discussed in the workshops you were not able to attend.
With this publication we wish to give you a good overview of the various contributions to the conference, including the policy recommendations formulated at the end of the event. At the same time it will serve as a memento of a successful European Conference on Sports Participation.
